Christian Home Services is looking for a Care Coordinator to provide leadership and supervision of residences receiving in home health care in the Mount Pleasant and surrounding area!

This position is responsible for the management of assigned residential homes receiving in home aid. Care Coordinators must simultaneously supervise multiple Home Managers to ensure compliance with training standards and scheduling while ensuring homes are safe, clean and well supervised.

Essential Duties

  • Evaluate on a regular schedule the quality of residential programs assigned to Care Coordinator
  • Monitor business operations of the homes to ensure quality care while maintaining profitability
  • Provide supervision, evaluations and training to the home managers and staff
  • Assist area coordinators as needed, communicate any correspondence with Licensing Consultants, Guardians, and/or Contact Agencies
  • Conduct monthly staff meetings with the House Managers to ensure that households are working towards appropriate goals
  • Effectively communicate and train subordinates on the work environment desired by CHS
  • Foster work environments that attract, motivate, and retain hard-working individuals
  • Maintain confidentiality of clients, other staff, and the business of CHS
  • Approve/deny leaves of absence, transfers, and promotions
  • Additional duties as needed

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience in the field and/or management
  • Must be organized and be able to plan for several households simultaneously
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Must be willing to drive to our office in Mount Pleasant and the surrounding area for home visits, interviews, etc. (company car provided for home visits, interviews, etc.)
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License
